• The VARTM (V-I) process is applicable to larger, less complex and lower
   volume part production of composite parts
• In the VARTM process, only a female mold is required with a vacuum
  drawn over the laminate through the use of a vacuum bag
  Atmospheric pressure then infuses the resin matrix
• Design freedom is somewhat limited as compared to the RTM process
